Overview:
Program Support Analyst needed to join a team working to create software and solutions for basic HR functions to cut costs, increase efficiency and provide better customer support surrounding human resources. Three major efforts will be the core focus of this project: HR Shared Service Centers, HR standards and solutions and the migration to shared-services for the provision of HR systems and services. Our team will provide SDLC project management, technical management and implementation support.

Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Program Support Analyst include but are not limited to the following:
  • Working with stakeholders to conduct information gathering sessions.
  • Defining and documenting requirements, business processes flows, and diagrams.
  • Research and prioritize user and functional requirements.
  • Review, document and revise functional requirements and specifications.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or other related technical discipline AND 5 years of experience with software related projects; 8 years of additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5 yrs. of experience gathering, defining and documenting the Client's needs and associated requirements.
  • 5 yrs. of experience writing the requirements, business processes and scope documents.
  • 3 yrs. experience facilitating requirements and information gathering sessions with senior level business and IT stakeholders.
  • Experience working on an enterprise wide HRIS implementation project.
  • Prior experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Extensive experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint or other similar word processing tools.
  • Ability to work individually or in an Agile team setting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
Desired/Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Government agency contracting experience; VA preferred (VBA/VHA).
  • Knowledge of business process modeling and software development life cycle.
  • HR Smart or other HRIS enterprise system.
